Thank you for your interest in Woodman Tree Service! My name is Ben, and I started this business in 2013 right after graduating Grove City College. I started with a ’86 Ford pickup and a borrow a chainsaw, but I’ve come a long way from those days. In 2014 I achieved a certification with the International Society of Arboriculture as a professional arborist, as well as becoming certified as a home improvement contractor in the state of Pennsylvania. In 2016 I purchased the first compact aerial lift in the region which propelled my business to new heights, allowing me to work safer, more efficiently and do jobs that nobody else could do. Since then I’ve purchased a variety of supporting equipment that gives me the ability to remove large amounts of wood with minimal impact to your property. I now employ 4 amazing, highly skilled people who share my passion for tree work. Together, we’re equipped to remove even most challenging trees with confidence. 

 

But we do more than just tree removal. In fact, a large part of the reason I got into the tree service business was because of my interest and deep appreciation of them. Working with trees professionally over the years has only caused my appreciation of these beautiful and profoundly complex organisms to grow.
